Training regularly is beneficial for many reasons. It boosts productivity, creates a stronger and happier mindset which ultimately reduces stress and builds emotional awareness. For some, exercising can be also seen as a form of meditation.

There are so many positive reasons to start exercising:

1. It releases those feel-good chemicals to the brain which results to you feeling happier
2. Promotes a better nights rest leaving you feel energised for the next day
3.
You’ll start to feel a sense of achievement knowing that you are reaching your goals and improving your overall health & fitness
4.
It can be a great group activity to do with friends or family, plus you will get that added bonus of social connection

Any form of exercise or movement can help increase your fitness level while decreasing your stress. The most important thing is to pick an activity that you enjoy, otherwise it will feel like a chore to complete which creates long term inconsistency. It can be as simple as going for a 1 hour walk daily to help you clear your thoughts and de-stress.

I would recommend no less than 30 minutes of daily exercise however, frequency is most important as you will reap the most benefits through repetition and creating a routine.

Why not try one of our 7 signature Qmax classes? We offer a range of 30 and 45 minute classes so they are the perfect way to get your daily dose of physical activity. Plus, you will be part of a motivating team environment.
